1. Anchoring
Create positive emotional states on demand by associating them with specific triggers (anchors).
How to apply: When you're feeling confident, press your thumb and finger together. Repeat this association several times. Later, use the same gesture to recall that confident state.
2. Reframing
Change the meaning of an experience by viewing it from a different perspective.
Example: Instead of seeing failure as defeat, reframe it as valuable feedback for improvement.
3. Mirroring
Build rapport by subtly matching another person's body language and communication style.
Tip: Mirror naturally and respectfully - this isn't about mimicry but about creating connection.
4. Meta-Model Questions
Ask specific questions to clarify vague language and uncover deeper meaning.
Example: When someone says "They don't understand me," ask "Who specifically?" and "What exactly don't they understand?"
5. Future Pacing
Mentally rehearse future success to program your mind for achievement.
Practice: Vividly imagine yourself successfully completing a task, engaging all your senses.
